Today was the second time I have
lost a contact on a bike ride. Mr. Fix-it
and I, were out riding. I knew pretty
early on that my contact was not in correctly.
Before we left I took it out, and put it back
in the other way. Like, inside out. It was my one
for reading so I didn’t have to have it for bike riding.
Still, it’s not easy to navigate contacts when riding bikes.
We stopped. I took out the contact and put it back in the
way I thought it was supposed to go, using Mr. Fix-it’s
tiny rear view mirror. It kept folding up on me.
I had to abandon the contact. No matter, they were
due to be changed out. I was most happy that it was
not my one for distance. That would have made for
an interesting ride.
