We rode bikes
we missed the rain
we came home to red cherries
over red strawberries
overgrown blackberry bushes
ultra pink roses
many weeds that are actually flowers
no poison ivy
cool mornings
soggy peonies
up shoots of columbine
along the creek bed…
and, of course ants…
