Propagate??

Our across the street neighbor came

over and helped me with some of my

indoor plants. I didn’t want to cut the top

off of any of my plants, as he suggested.

I knew I could not make myself do it. So

he came over with his snippers and root powder.

He helped me with my dracaena plant-

I had no idea this was the plant’s name.

I had always referred to it as Thing one

and Thing two from Dr. Seuss. Who knew-

obviously not me. It has been be-headed,

the tops and 2 branches are in a fresh pot and soil.

He helped me straighten another plant that was leaning

toward the sun making the pot unstable. In the end I am pleased

I felt for the plants though- It was tough for them.

I am sure they will make it.

Wow! How lovely is it that you have someone so knowledgeable about plants that lives nearby! And now you have another name for Thing 1 & 2. It’s a 50% chance any plants in our home make it, maybe even less. And the ones that make it over-thrive and run out of space. I often take pictures and go to the nearby garden store for help, but even then I still mess up their advice.
