It got a bit chilly today. Windy too.
So outdoor tennis seemed just like the thing to do!
The courts were empty so we didn’t have to wait to play.
We made it an hour. It sprinkled, spit rain
on us for a teeny bit. The thing that impressed me most
was that not a one of us thought we should leave
till we played at least an hour. That seemed reasonable.
My one daughter said, I can’t believe you’re going to play tennis,
there are wind notifications on my phone!
It will be fun to get out and hit the ball around. I answered her.
I could hear the wind on her end of the line, she was walking.
I was gripping the steering wheel tight to keep the car from blowing
off the road.
