Today Mr. Fix-it and I took a hike.
It is a hike we first discovered last
year. Last year, when we got to the
Trail head there was a couple about
our same age that were heading in
before us. We waited a bit, to let them
get ahead of us. So we wouldn’t run into
each other. It was a pretty steep climb.
We thought for sure we would come upon
the other couple. We are not proper hikers.
We do not snack or stop and enjoy, we just
haul it. When we got to the end of the trail.
The couple had a little tailgate snack bar
going on, like they had been done for hours.
It was crazy insane. Today when we hiked,
there wasn’t a soul. Except beautiful flowers
waiting for us, all along the trail.
