Last night one of the book club ladies left surplus squash
from her garden. It was a moment for me… This morning I went
outside, before seven, and turned the well water on to soak the garden.
The weeds come out a bit easier when the soils wet. I have numerouso
more mornings ahead of me. I did uncover 5 or 6 kabocha squash.
That felt productive.
