Mr Fix-it not only fixes things around the house, he is also
the resident barista! At first, when he started working from home
he replaced the drip coffee maker with a French press. He dutifully studied
temperatures and coffee amounts, grams, thermometers. Stuff I never thought
of. I just drink coffee and since I add cream… He spoke of the bean being a berry
and he preferred blackberries and lighter roasted beans. He found the perfect coffee.
Eventually he switched to the pour over method. Either way he makes coffee
every day. It is delicious and perfectly brewed. Many mornings, especially on
the weekends, he will froth up the cream and serve me the kind of beauty pictured above.
