The cold snap that lasted three days
did take quite a toll on the budding
leaves, plants and fresh upshoots.
Sad. The frozen yellowed leaves are starting
to turn a soft green. My magnolia bush
got hit hard. It’s buds look awful, just awful.
But this is the same magnolia bush that bud
at least three times last year. So I have hope
for it. As for me getting outside and working in
this beautiful weather- it is not happening.
Instead I am writing lists finishing up books
that I have started and not completed. And
dusting. The dust is unbelievable…
I still do sport in the weather-it’s the work that
is not happening yet.
