Bird Watch

IMG_7631

One of my grown girls made

me this very creative Birder

Book, for my birthday. I love

how she reused magazine and

calendar pages. I have just started to

write my bird finds inside the booklet.

I have spotted red birds, overly fat

robins, owls, hawks, blue jays, and a few

pileated woodpeckers. Also, I spotted a

bird so blue, I thought it might have escaped a

cage, so I looked it up, and I think it was an

indigo bunting. I know there are many serious birders,

and I am not one of them. Even so, I have enjoyed

doing it during my outside hours or while sitting in

my den and looking out the window.

I like plants and tennis and book club and classical music and small bowls of ice cream.

I love Jesus, Mr. Fix-it, family and life!

I don’t like driving in the rain or sleeping in.
