To me Cosmos are one of the most cheerful
flowers. I especially like it that they wait
till fall to bloom. With so much dying
around them, their frail stems
manage to hold onto so many blooms.
Each morning a bloom of a different color
greets me.
After lunch I watched while the Cosmos
swayed in the breeze. So cool that such
a short lived flower packs so much beauty,
and feeds the bees.
