Book Suggestion

A few book clubs back we read Malibu Rising by

Taylor Jenkins Reid. This book was sorta written

in my generation. I enjoyed the book and the

discussion. But what I really got out of the book was

Noxzema. Nina Riva-one of the characters in the

book-washed her face with Noxzema.

When I was in college I washed my face

with Noxzema too. Shortly after marrying

Mr.Fix-it, he said he couldn’t stand the smell.

Well, it’s been almost forty years…

So I went right out and bought Noxzema. I love the

smell. It’s like Vicks Vaporub and a cold cream mix.

Mr. Fix-it either does not remember he didn’t like

the smell, or he can’t smell anymore.
