Picked to walk in the neighborhood today.
Just could not bring myself to high-step it
around the back woods. Besides, the streets
were clear enough. We had book-club last night.
We missed our regular game night get together
during the Holidays. So, everybody brought gifts
to exchange. Got some homemade sourdough
chocolate chip cookies. Delicious! Most of the gifts
were homemade. I love that. Little flower arrangements
in egg crates, fun candles homemade and store bought.
All so creative. 
I am always amazed at what ladies can
accomplish during their busy days- babies-kids-schedules
they have to keep-all of it. We played Taboo. Our across the
street neighbor joined us. Some of our regulars weren’t able
to make it. I always feel that… Even so, we had a lovely time
with good food-all quite random-still yummy.
