I taught each of my children to bumpity bump
or scooch on their bottoms down the steps. They
did it. I didn’t have to teach a one of them how
to get up the steps. They figured it out on their
own. If they wanted what was up those steps-
they got there.
Steps are made to be climbed, conquered,
mastered- or whatever and with little ones
we cheer them along. Good job -you did it!
Think of all the steps you have had to take
Scads of them! I imagine there are a whole
lot of steps we don’t want to take but we do
it still the same.
In Deuteronomy 31: 8 it says-
The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you…
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged
I like to think He’s saying –
Good Job -You’re doing it!
