Mr. Fix-it has been working hard.
Each morning he tells me what
he hopes to accomplish.
In just a few short days he jack-hammered
the stairs away and today he dug up some
of the foundation stones so he can
tuck point. Two words, that are
gobbledygook to me. I imagine it like sewing
a hem line or matching the shoulder to
an arm hole. It’s the only way it makes
sense to me. He used a wheel barrow to
move load after load of concrete. Today I
sent a picture of what he is doing to a friend
she texted back Wow, how does he know how to do it?
Same as matching a shoulder seam to an arm hole.
