Some of the green tomatoes turned red. Last week
I tore the tomato plants out by the roots before I
left town. It did feel good to get rid of them. I need to
do a better job staking them next year. It is one day away
from the end of my 1000 outside hour challenge. One of my
grown girl’s words reverberate in my head daily. “I told you it was
a bad idea.” Hmmm… I gotta say, with the read 100 books in a year,
I challenged myself with, I found a way to accomplish it. I read several
children’s books and made it work so I could reach my goal of 100 books.
With this outside hours- I can’t pull it off- I can’t get myself to stay outside
anymore than I do, without neglecting all the things that need to be done indoors.
