Hellacious Hailstorm

Last nights hail trounced us for over five minutes.

Smacking the house so hard it was ominous. I hurried to

put my shoes on and went to the basement. In my mental library,

hail, precedes tornadoes. One of my grown girls did the same.

I sat on our exercise mat and called another one of my grown

girls to warn her of the incoming storm. I knew she would know

nothing of it because she has a newborn. All consuming, aren’t they.

Another reason I called is because she lived at home during the cat-4

tornado of 2004. I wanted to warn her of the hail.  She has the same info

in her mental library about the hail and all. Problem is the cars…
