Some years back our youngest daughter made us
a neato candle display replete with pine cones, greenery
and fake snow. It was quite a work of art. We burned through
the green candle, the pine cones were transformed with
peanut butter, sesame seeds and string for bird feeders.
Occasionally I’ve used the white candle for a birthday.
I’m fond of things like old burnt candles, pudding hand prints,
play dough ornaments, hand made snowflakes. It’s what our
family is made of, and I love it every bit of it.
