When we first moved to this house,
23 years ago, it was in the winter.
So, we had to wait till spring and
summer to see what came up.
Peonies, lilacs, tiger lillies, and
the orange trumpet vine. The vine
was every where. It wrapped itself
around the garage and parts or the
house, it grew in the back woods.
We just loved it, thought it was so beautiful.
An older lady from our church at the time,
came over. She told us to,” pull that vine
down. It gets under the shingles and will ruin
your siding.” We ignored her. We loved the
wildness of it. My, oh my, was she ever right.
It even sprouts up through the garage floor!
