I’m kicking it on the jelly this year
Between my sourdough starter,
strawberries, cherries and blackberries.
I have been keeping crazy busy in the kitchen.
The great thing is there are loads of recipes
now on the internet. This blackberry jam,
I sorta mixed up several recipes. Pectin Free,
seems to be the rage now. The thing about
pectin is – it does thicken it- sooo, I have made
several batches pectin free and a few jars with
pectin. But the blackberries do not
know that I have made jelly-they are majorly
producing. Looks like cobbler and possibly
a pie will have to be made!! Oh well.
