We have a mole, probably more than one.
But that, maybe more than one, little mole
has done some serious damage to my very
front garden-rooted under my porch across
most of the yard- in the way back too.
We have a bit of acreage so we are not in
the suburbs. Of course my lawn is made up
of a lot of crab grass, and some turf builder
that has stayed put. This mole has made mole
mounds all over the “yard”
It’s annoying. Our across the street neighbor
took some time to explain to me that a certain
dog could root the moles out. Well, that’s not
going to happen. I am not going to get a dog to
get them, or a trap. Instead, I am going to hope
they go away, just like the “japanese beetles”
that must have hatched today and have covered
my windows. See them in that picture- that’s a
teeny tiny bit of them. I read about how to get rid
of japanese beetles, and the suggestions are worse
than mole eradication-
“get used to them they are harmless” is a typical
sentence.
