One of the things my mother used to say was-that really threw me for a loop.
I can’t say as a kid I had any idea what she was talking about. But, now as an
adult, I get it. I know when my looper has been thrown for a loop.
I suppose it is different for everybody. Just what throws them.
A few nights ago the hubby and I watched Stranger Than Fiction.
It’s a fun movie-we have seen it before, but I did not remember most of it.
Will Ferrell is in it and at one point he asks Maggie Gyllenhaal to forgive him
for acting odd. Isn’t isn’t that a good line- Forgive me, I acted odd. At least it sounds
better than saying I was thrown for a loop.
Remember these loopy things from the above picture? Making endless hot pads
and coffee coasters. I hear there might be snow again tonight. And, I can assure you,
I am betting no one five dollars, one way or another.
