Louisiana?

IMG_7771

When we arrived at our campground today,

we stopped at the water station. And there were

butterflies galore. It was wild to me. So many of them

clumped together on the pavement,

and just as many flying about. I recognized some as

Yellow Swallowtail. But, I didn’t know what the

other ones were. I have never seen this kind of butterfly.

Supposedly, they are native to Louisiana,

the simple name for them is, Zebra Swallowtail.

Maybe they were just stopping off for a drink.
