Since I do not consider myself to be a good
person to recommend books, I won’t.
But I will say this; it’s been a minor miracle
the last few weeks because there have not
been any book rejects. Instead, each book I
pick up, I read from cover to cover. I even read
about the author. I usually take a picture of the book,
or write the authors name down on a tiny scrap of paper,
that I promptly lose. One of my favorite genres is
historical fiction. I seem to be on a roll with selecting
the right books. Another thing I do when I read,
is take pictures of the text-certain sentences or paragraphs.
Sometimes I will write the sentences on tiny scraps of paper
and leave them around the house or put them in my wallet.
If they are not to lengthy, I will write them up in my
“notes” on my phone. Or, tape them to the ceiling
and forget to ever read them again. But hey…
