One of the things that I like most about plants
is they seem to have gotten their job memo: Grow.
They don’t know if they are leggy and need to be
clipped back. They are unaware if they are pot bound.
They have no idea if they are misshapen, or ugly,
or beautiful, shiny or droopy, they just go about living.
Fully expecting to be cared for.
They aren’t embarrassed about their looks or their shapes
or their brightness or dullness. They do just what a plant is
supposed to do.
They remind me of the Bible verse found in Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
for good works, which God prepared beforehand
that we should walk in them.” We don’t need to worry
ourselves about any or it. Its prepared for us. And He
is the best caretaker ever.
Profoundly simple and encouraging!!
Thank you for bringing perspective to increase my appreciation, adoration and trust!! Bless you and your observations!
Thanks Laura. Are we not glad that He keeps it simple. He knows our frame.
