The house is old.
It’s pushing 100.
Outlets are few
Any time Mr. Fix-it
re-dos a room in the house,
or re-dos a floor, he adds
wall outlets. This time we
didn’t redo the upstairs
hallway. But we did bring
home a new nightlight of
sorts. I plugged it into the
extension cord running
under the door. He, couldn’t
bear it. He put in two new
wall outlets. He was up in
the attic dropping electric
wiring down, drilling out wall
holes for the electric box. He was
up and down the basement stairs
flipping breakers. He had on a
headlight so he could see in the dark
attic. After he finished it all up, I wrapped
up the old extension cord. Won’t be
needing that anymore.
