I picked my husband up a pair of shoelaces for his boots.
His laces were frayed and not tying well.
The laces I bought were too long.
This did not deter him- he found a way to
make them work. This is what he does.
He makes things work-even if it takes
extra work to make it work. He spent time
researching it on the internet-how to shorten
his laces. I thought he was kidding till I
found the scissors, tape measure, extra bit
of laces and the Heat Shrink on the work
bench in the basement. I asked him how
he made it shrink.
“I used a lighter-they fit great now.”
