Natural Demise?

IMG_6886

This afternoon I was out in the way back woods.

Wandering around picking up sticks that I might

be able to fashion into some sort of natural fence.

I am a bit wary of picking up too many things since

my recent poison ivy break out. But all of my skin

was covered, in hopes to stay as warm as I could.

I came upon this heap of blue jay feathers. For a

bit I wondered what kind of animal would eat a

blue jay and  leave the feathers so tidy. Anyway,

when I looked up bluejay feathers, there were

many “spiritual” meanings listed. Optimism,

strength,confidence, silver lining,courage, hope.

At first, I figured the blue jay had come to it’s

end. Maybe not.

My son, who is much more computer savvy than I,

made a counter for my outside hours

I don’t think it has a place for minutes. So….

I am  either going to have to round up or down.
