When I was a kid some of my brothers lined
up army men on the dining room floor
and shot them down with rubber bands.
It was a regular afternoon activity. I did it too.
Occasionally the rubber band would snap back
at you instead of towards the army men.
It stung. Only for a second or so.
Not so with real people and real war…
One of my most favorite Bible passages
is in Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am
God. I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth
He will.
