Rash of Spring

IMG_1730

Everything is beautiful this time of year.

The timing of the rain has been perfect

for green grass and flowers. Mr. Fix-it and

I have been working in the yard. He’s very

tidy and I am not. I leave the hoses all over,

and he wraps them up again before he mows.

Problem is our hose sits near where poison

ivy lurks. Once I see it I start tossing my

gardening gloves in the trash. This one glove

remains

I know it sounds nuts, and it might be. But, poison ivy

is poison! I can even get the rash from old garden boots

or shoelaces or whatever the oil has touched. Garden

hoses are the worst.

I like plants and tennis and book club and classical music and small bowls of ice cream.

I love Jesus, Mr. Fix-it, family and life!

I don’t like driving in the rain or sleeping in.
