Examples of root tubers include sweet potatoes,
cassava, and the dahilia flower. For some reason
this definition makes me feel better about the
way the sweet potatoes looked when I dug them up.
Hmmm. No matter, they were delicious. I scrubbed
them up, sliced them, fried them in lots of butter
with a bit of thyme and garlic salt until tender.
