The rose bush is one of the original plants on our property
that was here when we moved in – almost 24 years ago. It needs
to be pruned. But, I’m afraid I’ll kill it. So, it is a bit wild looking.
It produces lots of roses. Sometimes into the fall, depending
on the weather. Somehow, I have managed to kill quite a bit of the original
outside plants and bushes. The irises have not bloomed in two
years. I am going to try to pack more dirt around their roots this year
and see if it helps them. The yard is not happy with me.
