Sometimes I have left words that should have been said – unsaid.
Often, I don’t know what to say.
Other times, I have left places, like a store, or a library, or
a shop of some kind, or maybe even church, and I think
I should have said something nice- like their hair looked good
or they looked nice in the particular color they were wearing.
Little words but so so important to us all.
You look like you’ve lost weight–my my what that does for the soul-
it causes spirits to soar.
Sometimes, I want to say to women or men you are looking good…
At church, quite some time back, I told a lady I knew, “Madge”
You look so pretty today. She started avoiding me.
Maybe a word that should have been left unspoken!
