I have observed a red-tailed hawk sailing over our back woods for quite some time.
It perches itself in the tree out past the kitchen window and looks as if it is standing
guard over the property.
This other bird is a metal crane that stands sentry over our
side-yard.
Obviously, I don’t think birds, especially metal ones, can protect.
Even so, Psalm 91 uses “bird” language to describe the Lord’s protection.
” I will say of the Lord He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”
…He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge…
I love this!
