we carried spoons
and little forks
and little napkins
we ate fast
sometimes slow
sometimes not at all
we hurried there
we hurried here
sometimes we forgot forks
and only used spoons
You can eat cake in the car if you have a fork
teeny tiny p.s. The ducks plant themselves in
our grass every morning after honking across the sky.
