The magnolia bush is in it’s second spring.
I am hopeful it will make it. We planted it
close to the other magnolia that died dead
in the drought summer.
It wasn’t a tree, or a bush, instead it was what
remained of a tree that was cut down.
I found the new magnolia on clearance at
the end of the season. Mr. Fix-it shoveled out a new
place to plant it. I think magnolia trees are beautiful.
I am always a bit leery when things start to bud and
bloom. I have seen so many freezes after things bloom.
Genesis 8vs.22 reminds me- While the earth remains,
Seed-time and harvest. Cold and heat. Winter and summer.
Day and night shall not cease.
Surely, the trees and bushes and grass, know this is true!
