So Duck has been found. Yesterday by mid day
there were two of them

Today there were three.
When my husband mowed the lawn they seemed put out.
When it started pouring rain they stood in it. I am enjoying watching
them. I also enjoyed book club last evening. The food was delicious.
We try to match the theme of the book to our meal. We had a version of a
Shepherd’s pie, Yorkshire pudding, tea sandwiches, trifle/Eton mess.
It was so much food I had to switch out the lunch plates for the dinner plates.
We read the book, The Mythmakers, by John Hendrix. It’s about Tolkien and C.S Lewis.
It’s purely coincidence that I just finished The Fellowship of the Ring,
by Tolkien. It is the first time I have read it. And this evening we watched
our way through disc one and part of disc two. Yikes. My imaginings
when I read the book were nothing like the movie. I am not a book
reviewer. But, after, or while, reading the book several book club members
bought the book as a gift for some of their Tolkien friends or family. I too,
purchased it, figuring I would pass it around to my children, and the shorter
ones, many of who have read it.
