Book Club never ceases to amaze me.
Last nights conversation did not disappoint.
Of course, it was not all book related.
I made a form of butternut squash soup.
I added colorful carrots, purple ones. And
various kinds of squash, a bit of Acorn, Butternut
and Kabocha. I also added a sweet potato. I would
not make it again using purple carrots. Because it
changed the color pretty drastically. Making it look a
tad unappetizing. Thank God for the sides that the others
brought. Yummy salad with a mustardy dressing,
cheesy bread, quiche, crackers, cheese and fruit tray,
and delicious brownies. And oh, I almost forgot crumbled
bacon for the soup topper!
