Beautiful rainbow trout surround us.
Thankfully they do not elude us.
Occasionally there is a story of the
one that got away. But rarely, if ever,
does Mr. Fix-it “get skunked.” That’s a
fishing term- slang for “Having caught
no fish at all when on a fishing trip.”
When we camp we eat fish for our
evening meal. Alongside a salad or vegetable.
I think the trout are delicious. Mr. Fix-it is chief
cook when we camp, and he is very good at it.
The trout in the picture is in a part of the river
that has signs up that say NO FISHING!
