Our grand kids, who live far away, came in for a visit.
We had fun times, playing games of Old Maid, Uno,
and Pictionary. Making knox blocs with Papa, reading,
eating, baking, and all the other good stuff. Something that
struck me was the ingenuity of kids. These little cousins
were looking to do something kind for their younger cousin.
To help celebrate her 3rd birthday. Well, of course, they did
not run out to the store- the oldest one is only 8. Instead,
they made homemade confetti from the streamer paper and
spread it about the house like flower girls.
As you might imagine it was everywhere. On the stairs, in the
bathrooms, on the rugs, a bit in the bedroom, some in the den,
and all over the table. Kinda like them. We get tiny pieces,
Visits- and they leave Memory Bits all over Us.
TOH to date: 700 hours and 40 min.
I did it, I got over 700 hours, before the end
of July. I also got 4 bug bites, that swelled, burned,
and itched. I made a baking soda paste and applied
it to the bites, and walked around this weekend with
baking soda patches on my arm and neck.
