One of my older sisters surprised me
with a hand painted watercolor of a sunflower
on my birthday. It was lovely. She also included
a packet of sunflower seeds. I scattered the seeds
around in different places. Today when I was out
doing the tiniest bit of weeding I came upon the
sprouting seeds. I was delighted! Amazed that a
gift of seeds from 500 miles away have sprouted
in my yard. Aren’t they cool looking- breaking out of
their “shell” and the earth at the same time.
Isn’t life grand!!
