This little bag of useless pencil erasers has amused
many a kid. They line them up and turn the little
erasers into a class room. Or sort them according to color.
Or pour them out, only to put them back in the bag.
The other day, three of them were lined up on a table
in the living room, as if having a time out from the rest of them.
time -out: a brief suspension of activity: BREAK-
according to Merriam Webster Apparently, something
even erasers need.
