Tiny Truths About Bikes…

IMG_0243

Mr. Fix-it picked up branches

in the yard in preparation

to mow – 5 acres.

I hustled around the house…

We took a quick out, to pick up

my car. It was in the shop.

We picked the time we would

bike ride together. We left within

7 or 8 minutes of that time. Pretty good.

At 8 miles I said, “I am stopping in the next

driveway, and having a drink.

I do not like to drink and ride. I heard

a hissing noise as I was drinking from my

water bottle. I put my head close to the front tire.

It was losing air. RATS… is all I have to say about

getting a flat when you are bike riding. We did

not have a successful flat repair. So…Mr. Fix-it

began the ride back to our place while

I walked the bike along the road. He returned with

the jeep, and we drove the bike home.

Radio Flyer trikes don’t get flats.

Mountain bikes are hard to get flats on too.

But, significantly heavier, and a bit harder to ride.

I love Jesus, Mr. Fix-it, family and life!
