Water Ways

IMG_8536

This morning’s thunderstorm was completely unexpected.

But not really- I still follow the old saying- Red sky at night,

sailors delight, red sky in morning, sailors take warning- and

the clouds this morning were wrapped in a pinky orange red. Even

so, Mr. Fix it and I had many morning plans of things we were

going to do outside. In the end he worked in the garage-painting.

And I got all my inside work and some grocery shopping out of the way,

before one of my grown girls comes into town with a few of the

grandkids!!

TOH to date: 688 hours and 10 min.

And yes, it is honey dew melon! Our across the street neighbor

confirmed it. I was still hoping for blue hubbard squash. Oh well.

There are many salsa and gazpacho recipes. It can also be flash frozen and

kept in the freezer for a time.

I like plants and tennis and book club and classical music and small bowls of ice cream.

I love Jesus, Mr. Fix-it, family and life!

I don’t like driving in the rain or sleeping in.
